Who we serve
Who we are

PrimeSnowRemoval, dedicated to Avoca, PA

We are not a summer lawn crew moonlighting. Snow ops are our specialty. This specialization means our supervisors stay ready. Each manager carries SDS and walks your site before storms hit.

Protection stays current. We meet vendor requirements, run background checks, and refresh checklists after every major event so optimizations show up the next time it snows.

We promise to finish with care. Rely on pre-storm notices, during-storm updates, and photo evidence. You stay in control what is happening outside.

Plowing

Smart sequence

Emergency routes go first, then docks, ADA stalls, and overflow areas. We blade carefully to avoid turf.

Right melt, right time

Pre-treat before accumulation, then calcium by traffic volume. Concrete-safe options protect stone while keeping traction high.

Sidewalk detail

Pedestrian safety

Foot crews shovel to full width, treat stairs and ramps, clear hydrants, and check railings and drains.

Snow relocation

Visibility preserved

When space shrinks, we push back to approved stack points so parking counts stay open.

Ice watch

Refreeze defense

Secondary rounds spot black ice and retreat with the right material.

Reporting

Proof every time

GPS logs accompany each visit. Property managers get clear proof for insurance.

Process

How we run winter ops in Avoca, PA

Step one: prep: map reviews, stake placement, material tests. 2) Pre-storm staging: fuel set in hubs. Step three: launch: routes roll before trigger depth, hitting top priorities first. Step four: passes: clear, brush, melt. 5) Post-storm sweep: retreat slicks. 6) Report: materials sent to you.

If weather shifts, we resequence. Managers redeploy to keep lanes wide. Your priorities guides every change.

Proof stays organized. Receive dashboard links before, during, and after. Those records answer auditors while keeping everyone aligned.

Safety first

Slip claims hurt morale and budgets. We guard ADA so drivers move confidently. Rails stay accessible for shoppers who rely on your site.

The community was incorporated as a borough in 1871. Its original name was “Pleasant Valley.” However, in 1887, it changed its name to “Avoca,” because the name "Pleasant Valley" was already used elsewhere in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It was named after Avoca, County Wicklow, in Ireland. The following year, on October 10, 1888, the borough suffered a major tragedy when dozens of its own residents were killed in a train wreck known as the Mud Run Disaster. It occurred at 8:02 p.m., when two trains collided in Kidder Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania. A majority of the 64 killed were from Avoca. The other casualties were from Scranton, Moosic and other neighboring communities.
